The Raymond Blanc Cookery School

The Raymond Blanc Cookery School at  Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons is for everyone who has a passion for food and wishes to have fun preparing it. In fact, "fun" is the word most often used by our cookery school students to describe their one, two or four days at the School.

Now in its eleventh year, the Raymond Blanc Cookery School is the only cookery school in the world to offer visitors the chance to watch, learn and practise in the kitchen of a two-Michelin star restaurant.

Head of the Cookery School, Mark Peregrine, and Cookery School Tutor, Steve Lyons are both protégés of Raymond. Mark began his career as an apprentice at Les Quat' Saisons, Raymond's first restaurant in the summertown area of Oxford.

Students need only have a love of food and the desire to learn about cooking. At the hands of our experienced chefs, the complete novice through to the experienced enthusiast will learn the secrets of producing the finest food and the reasons behind those secrets.

Children also have a chance to experience the magic of Le Manoir, on one of the courses run specifically for them. Children who have attended these courses are unanimous in their enthusiasm!
