The Very Hungry Frenchman, Raymond Blanc's BBC2 series broadcast earlier this year has been nominated in the Best Food Programme category for the TV Choice Awards 2012.

The acclaimed show, in which Raymond visited five regions of France - including his own home of Franche Comté (and Maman Blanc) - and cooked for the first time in France, for his friends and fellow restaurateurs and hoteliers, has been long listed in the Best Food Programme cateory.
