On 16 October 2012, Raymond Blanc hosted a special 'Evening with Raymond Blanc' at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in aid of Oxford Children's Hospital.

During the evening, Raymond presented a cheque for £1,750 to Dr Anne Thomson, Consultant Paediatrician and Divisional Director of Children's and Women's Division at the Oxford Children's Hospital. This represented half the funds raised through guests having their photograph taken with the Olympic Torch which RB carried through Wallingford as part of the Olympic relay earlier this year.

The evening raised a total of £22,305 for OCH.
