Arnaud Goubet takes 3rd Place in Sud de France

On the 13th of September Arnaud Goubet, Chef Sommelier at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, shortlisted from 48 candidates, participated in the semi-final and final of the Sud de France Competition organised by the Maison du Languedoc based in Cavendish Square, London.
In the morning the 10 finalists completed written tests about the region, then a blind tasting of 5 wines, where they had to find the grapes, region, appellation and vintages.
In the afternoon they tasted some local dishes, then wines to match with these dishes.
