THURSDAY 06 JANUARY 2011 • LE MANOIR MANAGERS' AWAYDAY IN PARIS
An Awayday in Paris for Le Manoir's Managers

Hello friends
First, I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year, or Bonne Année. If you would like to read more about my own Christmas and New Year, which I spent with my beloved Maman and Papa Blanc in France, click here to read my Caterer Le Blog about the feast of St Sylvestre.
The whole management team of Le Manoir, shepherded by my general manager Philip Newman-Hall, arrived in Paris in time under the care of Eurostar.
We are celebrating a wonderful year at Le Manoir, and this trip was a small token of appreciation for each member of the team.
The venue was fabulous, a wonderful 1920s brasserie: Le Grand Colbert. The food was very good and the ambience was warm, made warmer by the wine songs mostly led by a Norman and a Breton who have the largest repertoire of “chansons à boire”!
Soon other Parisian guests were overwhelmed by the sheer energy and noise from the other side of the Channel. It was wonderful and brilliant to see the team enjoying, relaxing, singing… even if it was not quite in style of Le Manoir!
Au revoir mes amis
