Hello friends

Sunday was a good day, a productive day. First a quick breakfast at Maison Blanc, then recipe writing for my new book "Kitchen Secrets" … still, a long way to go!

It was raining hard and I was grateful to be driven to the beautiful City of Winchester for the Hampshire Harvest Festival. The Dean, the very Revd James Atwell had kindly invited me to give a small address in his Cathedral.

First I met the Manageress, Iris, for lunch at Brasserie Blanc and meet the team: a bite to eat and time to prepare a few words. Then I stopped at Maison Blanc for a quick patisserie, before joining the congregation to celebrate all that is good about food, the growing and the sharing of it.
